Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations: baptizing them – in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18 – 20
We believe that Jesus has called us to go into the world, and to build up His Church by making disciples. The Church is primarily built through the Word of the Gospel (“teaching them”) and participating with the Church in Christ’s Sacraments (“baptizing them”). We joyfully invite people into this new way of being human, confident that Jesus is sovereign (“all authority… has been given to me”) and that He will never forsake His Church (“I am with you always”). With this in mind, all of our ministries here at Rock Presbyterian are for bringing people into contact with God’s Word in the presence of God’s people. We bring people in through outreach, and then put our people through discipleship, equipping and enabling them to reproduce what God has done in their lives.
Discipleship
Christian Education
Through sermons, Bible studies, online articles and Q&A, we offer several opportunities for saints to grow in their knowledge of God, His Word, and themselves within a biblical worldview.
Fellowship
Whether we’re in the playoffs of volleyball season, enjoying one of the local San Diego beaches, or catching a meal together, we want to promote community as a church. You can usually catch us in action on our Pictures page.
Bearing Burdens
As a part of our community, we look for opportunities to demonstrate our love to each other. Whether that means helping someone in need or seeking wise counsel, we want to love each other as the Lord has loved us.

We are thankful to have several local colleges in the area, and welcome college students into our church family.
Homeless Ministry
God’s Extended Hand Mission: Serving urban San Diego. Rock KPC has partnered with this Mission to tangibly show God’s love in action by sharing meals, the Word, and the love of Christ with the homeless of San Diego.
