Bansuk (“Rock”) Korean Presbyterian Church began worshiping and ministering in the San Diego area on February 2, 1986. The church made an important impact on the local Korean population and the wider community as well. While bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the area, Bansuk was also missions -minded and globally conscious as well, establishing partnerships in nearby Mexico, as well as remote Thailand, Mongolia, and Myanmar through the Global Association Partnership (GAP).
Four years later, the church began developing their English Ministry, Rock Korean Presbyterian Church. This English Ministry has been serving for over eighteen years under Bansuk.
